What parents often notice
Today’s children are growing up surrounded by screens, fast-moving content and constant stimulation. For some children, this can make traditional learning feel disconnected or difficult to sustain.
“My child is always on the phone.”
“My child struggles to stay engaged during online classes.”
“My child doesn’t enjoy reading or opening the textbook.”
“My child knows the answer but doesn’t speak confidently.”
“My child quickly gets bored with conventional classes.”
“My child needs someone who understands them before expecting them to learn.”
Every child learns differently. Sometimes the first step is not teaching more — it is understanding better.
Sometimes the child doesn’t need more pressure. They need a different way to connect with learning.
The ChildFirst difference
Every child has a different personality, pace and way of learning. I first build rapport, understand the child and create a comfortable learning environment. Then we gradually move towards focused, purposeful learning.

Discover personality, interests and learning needs.

A relationship-led methodology
A thoughtful progression that meets the child where they are, then helps them move forward with purpose.
A comfortable relationship comes before effective teaching.
Identify how the child thinks, learns and communicates.
Use stories, conversation, visuals, activities and interests.
Gradually shift attention towards purposeful learning.
Strengthen academic and language skills.
Encourage children to read, speak, write and share ideas confidently.
Whole-child learning
The goal is not only to complete a lesson, but to help a child become a more comfortable, capable and independent learner.
Build the habit of staying present and participating with purpose.
Grow comfort, fluency and understanding through age-appropriate reading.
Create a safe space to voice ideas and join conversations.
Discover useful words through stories, contexts and everyday expression.
Celebrate progress so children feel comfortable trying and learning.
Develop curiosity and habits that help a child learn with growing ownership.
CBSE & ICSE · Grades 1–6
English and Hindi are the learning areas. But the bigger goal is helping the child become comfortable with learning, communication and self-expression.
Optional additional support with Maths, EVS, Science or Social Studies may be discussed based on the child’s needs; these are not primary services.

The person behind ChildFirst
I began teaching children during the pandemic, initially to support young learners adapting to online education. What began as a way to help children gradually became a deeply meaningful part of my professional journey.
